The Toglon® Hard Series hard drills/miniature hard drills for high hardness applications can process hardened steel with a hardness of HRC 40 to 72. They offer outstanding performance compared to conventional high hardness tools. With a three-flute design, they achieve excellent hole diameter accuracy and surface roughness. When used in conjunction with the Toglon® Hard SP, hole position accuracy is improved. The material is ultra-hard alloy, which excels in oxidation resistance, wear resistance, and heat resistance, making it ideal for high-speed machining. The surface treatment ALD coating (TiAIN) provides excellent heat resistance and oxidation resistance. Additionally, the ALT coating offers superior heat resistance, oxidation resistance, and lubrication properties, maintaining stable high-temperature hardness.
